Maisie and the dolphins

Maisie lives on the Bahamas. She is thirteen years old. Maisie likes pop music, reading and swimming. Her parents are animal doctors.On Saturdays she and her grandfather go out in his boat. She likes to swim under the water and look at the beautiful fish.
One day a big ship hits a dolphin.
Maisie and her grandfather take the dolphin in the boat and go home. Maisie runs into the house. Her parenrs help the dolphin. She calles him Ben. Maisie and the Dolphin make friends.
One day the Dolphin must go back to his home. Maisie and her grandfather go out to the sea and take Ben back into the sea. Ben swims away but comes back again. He has a key in his mouth. Maisie jumps into the water and follows Ben. Ben keads her to a box. Maisie opens the box with the key. They take the box back home. They are happy and rich.

April in Moscow

April Fox is a dancer. She works for the British Dance Company. Her boss is Maria Grant. The dancers are going to Moscow because they dance there. Laura, April's best friend, and April are going to the market in Moscow. There they meet Nikolai and Sasha. Then the four people go to a lake. April and Nikolai climb into a boat beside the lake.
Back in Moscow there is a lot to do. The evening passes quickly.
All poeple like the dancers.
Twenty-four hours later all the British dancers are at Moscow airport.
Then they fly home again.

Ali and his camera

Ali, a boy from Istanbul, likes to take photos of people and buildings
in his city.
There is one problem: His parents can't buy him a camera because they don't have the money for it.
One day Ali meets a woman on a bridge. Her name ist Mrs Yildi. She gives Ali her son's Yusuf old camera.
Ali must work after school so that he can buy films.
After some time he comes to a photographer's. There he meets an old man whose name is Selim. Selim teaches Ali a lot about taking photos. From time to time Ali's photos are very good and in the end one of his photos is in the newspaper.
After some time he works as a cameraman for this newspaper.

Flying Home

Felix is a blue and yellow bird from Brazil.
He lives with the Baxter family in New York.
His home is a cage. The Baxter family like Felix and Felix likes the Baxterfamily.
But Felix is not happy. He would like to live in Brazil.
One day Mr. Baxter opens Felix's cage to give him some food.
The phone rings. Mister Baxters answers the phone, but he forgets to shut the cage. Felix sees the open window and flies out.
Behind him Mr Baxter shouting, "Hey! Felix, come back!" But Felix does not come back.
Felix stops at the Statue of Liberty.
A small, grey and white bird asks him, "Where are you from?"
"I am from Brazil," answers Felix."
"And where are you going?" asks the bird.
Felix flies up and says, "I am going home!" Felix flies south. He cannot see New York any more. But he can see the Atlantic Ocean.
Two hours later it starts raining. Felix can see a ship. He flies to the ship.
There are hundreds of fish.
Two days later Felix flies across Peru.
He meets a beautiful bird with black and white feathers. Felix tells him his story. The bird says "I have a friend. His name is Aca and he lives in Rio. He knows the jungle.
Felix flies from Peru to Rio. There he sees a lot of people in the streets.
"Aca! Aca"! Felix shouts. Suddenly he feels a hand on his neck. Somebody wants to catch him but Aca helps him.
Felix and Aca fly from Rio to the jungle.
Felix wants to fly to his home. So the two birds fly over the road. They stop in a tree near the village. There he sees birds with blue and yellow feathers. “ Felix, is it you?” they ask. "Yes", Felix answers, "I am at home!”

The Fireboy

Hapu lives in Egypt at the time of Queen Cleopatra. He works in the factory of his father Bak. They make gold tables and chairs. They are poor people. "One day we´re going to be very rich", Bak tells Hapu.
Three days later Bak suddenly stops working. He closes his eyes and falls on the ground. He is ill. Bak can´t work.
Hapu needs some money. He makes a gold necklace for Queen Cleopatra. Hapu goes to the palace. He wants to give the necklace to the Queen. But the guards don´t let him in.
At the market he hears a man say, "Cleopatra's women are coming here tomorow." The next morning he goes to the market and waits.
Suddenly a long line of people are coming from the palace. A minute later Cleopatra arrives. Hapu runs to her and gives her the necklace. “This is beautiful. Give this boy some money,” Cleopatra says.
Hapu is very happy and runs home. He gives the money to his father and they are both happy. One day a guard comes to him and offers him a job at the palace. Hapu doesn't want to leave his father, but he has to. They need the money.
At the palace Hapu tells the Queen everything about his father. The Queen says: “Your father can come with you and you both work for me”.
Hapu is very happy. He and his father can make lots of beautiful things. They both become rich.

Red Riding Hood

Red Riding Hood is a nice girl.
One day she goes to her Grandma to bring her cake. On her way she picks flowers for her.
The big bad wolf wants to play with Red Riding Hood but she does not play with him. The wolf runs to Grandma. Grandma sees the wolf and gets up. The wolf jumps into Grandma's bed.
Red Riding Hood comes in and asks Grandma why she has got such big ears, eyes and teeth.
The wolf jumps up and wants to catch Red Riding Hood. But she runs out of the house. There she sees her father. She climbs up on a tree and his father kills the wolf.
Grandma crawls out of the wolf's stomach.
Red Riding Hood gives the flowers and the cake to her grandmother.
They are all happy.
