Einige Schüler haben mitgedacht und bemerkt, dass ich mich geirrt habe und mir eine Summary von Wb. p. 78/10 geschickt (Pharaoh)
Das lassen wir so und wenn ihr diese Summary dann schreiben müsst, schickt ihr mir die von Seite 72/9.

I hope you are all okay and are doing your work carefully.

You do not have to send us the exercises you do. You just correct the exercises in your Students‘ Book yourself with a red or green feltpen. The solution of the Workbook and Worksheet exercises is at the back of the book. You also look at the mindmap  and complete the words/phrases that are missing. We call that self-paced-learning.

Die Übungen im Students‘ Book, die Mindmaps und die Arbeitsblätter müssen einfach nur gemacht werden und werden dann mit Hilfe der Lösungen, die ihr immer in der folgenden Woche bekommt, selbst mit rotem oder grünem Fineliner ausgebessert. Die Lösungen des Workbooks findet ihr hinten im Anhang. Das nennt man selbstbestimmtes Lernen.

Vielleicht setzt ihr euch ein akustisches Signal, so wie die Schulglocke und gönnt euch zwischen den Lerneinheiten eine Pause zum hier klicken --> Kurzturnen, für einen Snack oder etwas Musik.

Write/type the text on your computer - Use the WORD programme. Send the text to your teacher by email. We will correct it and send it back to you. Then you print it out and put it in a folder "Homeoffice" or save it on the computer with the same name.

1)  Take your Student’s Book p. 83 and read the Grammar Box. Write down the Grammar about Irregular plural (= title) into your Grammar Book.

 

2)  Workbook p. 80 Do the exercises nr. 11, 12, 13

 

3)  Student’s Book p. 82 nr. 10 Read the story “The curse of the pharaoh” twice (zwei Mal lesen -  1x leise, 1x laut) and do the exercises in nr. 12 + underline the answers in the text

 

4)  Workbook p. 79 nr. 9B Cross out the mistakes and correct the sentences

 

5)  Write these sentences (WB p. 79 nr. 9B) into your Homework Book with the title: The curse of the pharaoh

 

6)  Open the link: https://learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/short-stories/the-mummy  and watch the video “The mummy”

 

7)  After watching the video, click here, print it when you have a computer and do the exercises. Put it into your folder.

 

When you have no printer, just write the words and sentences in your exercise-book.

We are in an unusual situation, and you are going to learn and practise on your own. 
But hey, you will need it in a few years. You will be true experts in working from your homeoffices.👍
As told you at school, this is the first exercise you have to do on your own.
Stay disciplined and try to do your best.👍
And please, don't forget to take notes in your "diary". You can also write emails from your email address - with your usual password - you use in school.

1) Students' Book. p. 79 /3 - Read the text out loud twice (2x) do the True-and-False-exercise on Stb. p. 79 / 4

2) Create a Mindmap "LIFE IN ANCIENT EGYPT" --> Words-Book

3) With the help of the mindmap talk (laut sprechen, vielleicht auch mit dem Handy als Audiodatei) aufnehmen about Life in ancient Egypt

4) Students' Book. p. 79/5: Write the words (singular and plural form) in your exercise book:
Example: man - men, child - children (you find the forms in your Grammar book)

5) Workbook p. 76 and 77

6) Workbook p. 78 / 6 Matching exercise (Sätze zuordnen) und ins Texteheft einschreiben (Title: Life in Ancient Egypt) 

7) Worksheet p. 12 (die habt ihr ausgeteilt bekommen) Irregular Plurals (Ausfüllen)
